| Abstract: | The Biometric systems are widely used now days to increase the security of systems. But the biological information could be stolen by others. By stealing the biological information of a person the unauthorized access can be accomplished. Therefore it is important to find a solution to improve the security of such systems. This can be done by using cryptography and the biological information by means of incorporating them into cryptosystem key. In this paper we discuss the proposal which use the templates generated from the raw biological information of a person and password, stored on the smart card to generate the biometric digest using message authentication code (MAC). |
